We are celebrating “The Earth Day” in school today, i.e. 20th of April 2012. The whole
school is taking part in it quite enthusiastically. Students have worked on different projects in order to bring
awareness about this great day. Everyone in the school including the students,
teachers, staff and management are working really hard on it and are putting their efforts really nicely to celebrate the day. Now it’s time for you to share your bit with us.

ReplyDelete. it has made us aware of global warming and its disastrous effects also we can now make great things out of wasted materials.
We have participated in recycling different materials and come across the importance of recycling materials and have seen the dangers of polluting the environment and want to save us from those dangers. therefore we learnt that we should start living more sustainably
ReplyDeleteOur class made projects on cloth. It was really fun and we also learned recycle old cloth in useful ways. The recent speeches made us aware of the reason for celebrating the Earth Day =)

Today our school is celebrating Earth day with spirit and enthusiasim. Grade 8 students have been divided and given different themes for recycling.

Students from grade 6 sang a song in the morning assembly related to earth day. They were appreciated by the whole school.
We have worked very hard for this activity We realized that the Earth is in need of serious care and we have taken actions to contribute to save our planet. For a brighter future for all of us.
TOGETHER WE CAN AND TOGETHER WE WILL... MAKE A DIFFERENCE. :)
I have learnt to take care of the Earth by not throwing garbage in clean and fertile places.Also to water and plant more trees.I made a cricketer out of paper and made his clothes with recycled cloth.To recycle more paper,to save electricity and to save water.Now I try to recycle more papers.Also I learnt a slogan:

I and my group members made a fish with the help of different bottle caps and a brick of earth day :)i learned about different creativity and what are the different ways of saving earth :D

Our earth is being affected by many different things and in order to save our earth,i took a small step towards the betterment of our planet.I recycled bottle caps and made different things out of it which are useful to human life.

We Made Project On Earth Day From Bottle Caps.We Recycled it and used the bottle caps to make various things such as frames,Robots and Different types of jewelleries. Our Main Aim is To Save Our Earth and Use The Resources as safely as we Can.

ReplyDeleteToday we are celebrating the Earth Day! Nice we should give respect to our mother earth! Students of Grade 6,7 and 8 prepared an awesome assembly and also sang a song dedicated to Earth! We should aware people also by making slogans, banners and brochures so that they don't throw trash and especially reduce global warming. Our group made out of bottle caps. Save the Earth and live well people!

The activities on the Earth Day are very creative and informative. I think, parents of all the children should be invited in order to create awareness about the Earth Day and to show the efforts of the children of the School. The idea of using bottle caps and recycle materials like old cartons, old newspapers, used recycle bottles and wind chyme by bottle caps is marvelous

ReplyDeleteThe Earth Celebrations are going wonderful. Students have made presentations, prepared songs, Doing plantations, displayed items which they have created through recycling and much more. A large number of parents are also appearing in order to appreciate the students efforts and last but not the least, the live comments from the students and the parents on the Blog made it more awesome. Overall a wonderful activity done by students on Earth Day. Well Done Students!!!
ReplyDeleteEarth day is celebrated every year but this year is really special as it is celebrated in BSS in a very different way. We are using house used material in order to create a new thing.We used paper,old Bottles,Bottle caps and many more.we are enjoing it lets see how do other schools do.

ReplyDeleteThe activities were innovative and creative. We made blinds and lamps by the recycling of paper. The other classes made many things out of bottle caps, cloth and plastic. Teachers can be seen wearing recycled jewelry such as rings out of paper and we r enjoying quite a lot viewing different innovative project/ideas.

We students anxiously and enthusiastically participated in the EARTH DAY celebrated in our school,by making various stuff from recycling materials which enhanced our creative and innovative skills to a great extent. We really enjoyed this activity. This even brought a great difference in our acts and activities done daily.
