CONNECTING CLASSES ONLINE PROJECT:

Connecting Classes Online Project is a Science - Technology integrated project. The students of Grade VIII are connected with three other schools world wide, One is Bilingual Academy at Sengal (Dakar), the other one is in Singapore and the third one is in States. All four schools are working collaboratively on same tasks in different ways. The project aims to prepare young people for a better life and work in a globally inter-connected word, raise their aspirations, and play an active role in their communities. Internationalism and dialogue between cultures are at the heart of all activities.

The students are connected to these schools through Skype and they share their work with each other through video conferencing session which are held every alternate day in the week. This brings in a lot of motivation in the students to work together as well as builds relationship between students of different cultures and norms.

The students of all four schools have decided to work on Health & Hygiene as their first task. Students at Beaconhouse Middle PECHS have done tremendous work on this task. The students have made surveys, ran health awareness campaigns, made documentaries, recorded songs, held presentation sessions for parents and what not.
